Vestibular Schwannoma (Acoustic Neuroma)
March 28, 2023
Vestibular schwannomas are benign tumors that grow on the balance and hearing nerve in the brain, causing symptoms like hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), and dizziness.
Treatment
Treatment options include observation, surgery, or radiation therapy, depending on multiple factors — such as the size of the tumor, the symptoms it’s causing, and the patient’s overall health.
To discuss an acoustic neuroma diagnosis, request an appointment.
